9788 has a way of landing in plain sight: a booking confirmation and a mileage counter. You get completion out of the 9 and wisdom out of the 7, often in the same afternoon. Five is freedom, so look at what you have been holding still that wants to move.
What 9788 means
The 5 is change: movement, freedom, the lesson that arrives through experience, not through planning. When a number reduces to 5, a routine has likely done what it came to do, and something in you already knows it's time for a different shape.
Inside 9788, the 9 carries the closing of a chapter so a cleaner one can open. The 7 adds the answer that arrives once the noise drops. The 8 brings the honest use of strength and the results that follow it.
The working, shown
9 + 7 + 8 + 8 = 32, and 3 + 2 = 5.
Every number in this system is read the same honest way: add the digits, reduce, and check whether a master number (11, 22 or 33) is trying to hold its full shape along the way.
Why you keep seeing it
Numbers repeat when a theme refuses to stay quiet. Something has finished teaching what it came to teach, and the number keeps appearing because you have not let it end. The lead digit is the 9, and it frames what follows: a chapter closing so a cleaner one can open.

Is 9788 a good sign?
Neither good nor bad. A sighting describes the terrain you are standing on. The same number can greet a beginning or stand near an ending, and the difference is always what you decide to do with it.
Does seeing 9788 mean my wish will come true?
Not quite. The sighting is not a yes machine. It is a mirror, and what it reflects is what you were wanting when you caught it. That wants an action, and it won't wait.
Is 9788 connected to my Life Path number?
Only in the loosest sense. Angel number sightings speak to attention, timing and theme. Your core numbers are a different layer entirely, the architecture, and reading them together is where the picture gets useful.
