You catch 9642 more often than chance allows: a timestamp and a page number. There is completion in the 9 and care in the 6, and neither one runs without the other. Three is expression, so say the thing you have been drafting in your head out loud to one person.
What 9642 means
The 3 is expression: the point where a private thought becomes something shared. It carries creativity, humor and voice. When a number reduces to 3, something you've been holding privately, an idea, an opinion, a piece of work, is ready to be spoken or shown, whether or not it feels finished.
Inside 9642, the 9 carries the closing of a chapter so a cleaner one can open. The 6 adds home, and the people who depend on you. The 4 brings the unglamorous work that decides whether something lasts.
The working, shown
9 + 6 + 4 + 2 = 21, and 2 + 1 = 3.
Every number in this system is read the same honest way: add the digits, reduce, and check whether a master number (11, 22 or 33) is trying to hold its full shape along the way.
Why you keep seeing it
The season explains more of this than the number does. Something is growing in you that has no outlet yet, and the sightings arrive when the pressure of it builds. It closes on the 2, where the message lands: timing you cannot hurry.

Your assignment when 9642 shows up
Speak or make the thing that keeps pressing at you, one honest version of it. Ask yourself what the 2 wants known right now. Where are you forcing something that needs time? Write the answer down and give it one hour this week.

Is 9642 a good sign?
The honest answer is that the number is neutral. It points at what is already moving in your life. The pattern is information, and information used well tends to end up called good.
Does seeing 9642 mean my wish will come true?
No, and reading it that way tends to make people passive. The honest use of a repeating number is noticing what you were thinking about when it appeared, then making an actual decision yourself.
Is 9642 connected to my Life Path number?
Only in the loosest sense. Angel number sightings speak to attention, timing and theme. Your core numbers are a different layer entirely, the architecture, and reading them together is where the picture gets useful.
