7988 has a way of landing in plain sight: a booking confirmation and a mileage counter. The 7 is wisdom and the 9 is completion, which means both are live at once. Five is freedom, so look at what you have been holding still that wants to move.
What 7988 means
The 5 is change: movement, freedom, the lesson that arrives through experience, not through planning. When a number reduces to 5, a routine has likely done what it came to do, and something in you already knows it's time for a different shape.
Inside 7988, the 7 carries the answer that arrives once the noise drops. The 9 adds the closing of a chapter so a cleaner one can open. The 8 brings the honest use of strength and the results that follow it.
The working, shown
7 + 9 + 8 + 8 = 32, and 3 + 2 = 5.
Every number in this system is read the same honest way: add the digits, reduce, and check whether a master number (11, 22 or 33) is trying to hold its full shape along the way.
Why you keep seeing it
The honest answer starts close to home. The theme is movement: part of you needs more space than its current container allows. It closes on the 8, where the message lands: the honest use of power.
What to do when you see it
Your assignment when 7988 shows up
Move: one new route, one new place, one new experience, before the itch picks the moment for you. And answer the question the 8 keeps asking. Is your power flowing both ways, out and back? Give it one real hour, and let the rest of the week stay as it is.

Is 7988 a good sign?
Neither good nor bad. A sighting describes the terrain you are standing on. The same number can greet a beginning or stand near an ending, and the difference is always what you decide to do with it.
Does seeing 7988 mean my wish will come true?
The wish fulfillment reading is the one to let go of first. A repeating number is a prompt toward clarity, and clarity followed by a decision beats waiting for an outcome every time.
Is 7988 connected to my Life Path number?
No, not directly. A number you keep seeing is about the present moment and your attention, which is what is alive right now. Your Life Path, Expression and other core numbers are calculated from your birth name and birth date, and they describe the fixed architecture you are working with underneath the weather of any single day.
