You've seen 6497 twice today already: a bus number and an email subject line. The 6 is care and the 4 is foundation, which means both are live at once. Eight is power, so look at where you have been waiting for permission you already have.
What 6497 means
The 8 governs authority, ambition and the honest use of strength, especially around work and money. When a number reduces to 8, you likely have more leverage in a situation than you're currently using.
Inside 6497, the 6 carries home, and the people who depend on you. The 4 adds the unglamorous work that decides whether something lasts. The 9 brings the closing of a chapter so a cleaner one can open.
The working, shown
6 + 4 + 9 + 7 = 26, and 2 + 6 = 8.
Every number in this system is read the same honest way: add the digits, reduce, and check whether a master number (11, 22 or 33) is trying to hold its full shape along the way.
Why you keep seeing it
The pattern has a habitat, and yours is telling. The pattern points at the visible world, at what you can touch and count, and asks whether it matches what you say you value. The number opens with the 6, and everything after it borrows that tone: care for the people who depend on you.

Is 6497 a good sign?
It is a marker, and it carries no blessing and no threat. The number names a live theme and hands it to you. Whether it turns out well has everything to do with your answer and nothing to do with the digits.
Does seeing 6497 mean my wish will come true?
A number is not a delivery system for wishes. What it can do is show you what you were hoping for at the moment you noticed it, which is worth more than the wish itself.
Is 6497 connected to my Life Path number?
A sighting is a moment and your chart is a standing structure. The number following you says something about your season, and your Life Path and the rest of your numbers, hand calculated from your birth name and birth date, describe what you are working with underneath every season.
