You've seen 5997 twice today already: a bus number and an email subject line. The 5 carries freedom and the 9 adds completion, so the two keep working on the same week. Three is expression, so say the thing you have been drafting in your head out loud to one person.
What 5997 means
The 3 is expression: the point where a private thought becomes something shared. It carries creativity, humor and voice. When a number reduces to 3, something you've been holding privately, an idea, an opinion, a piece of work, is ready to be spoken or shown, whether or not it feels finished.
Inside 5997, the 5 carries the open door that appears once a routine has finished teaching you. The 9 adds the closing of a chapter so a cleaner one can open. The 7 brings the answer that arrives once the noise drops.
The working, shown
5 + 9 + 9 + 7 = 30, and 3 + 0 = 3.
Every number in this system is read the same honest way: add the digits, reduce, and check whether a master number (11, 22 or 33) is trying to hold its full shape along the way.
Why you keep seeing it
The honest answer starts close to home. Something is growing in you that has no outlet yet, and the sightings arrive when the pressure of it builds. The number opens with the 5, and everything after it borrows that tone: movement, once a routine has finished teaching you.
What to do when you see it
Your assignment when 5997 shows up
Make the thing and let one other person see it, because that is the whole assignment. The 5 in the number asks you this. What are you gripping that you'd be relieved to let go of? Tell one person what you decided, so it has a witness.

Is 5997 a good sign?
Neither good nor bad. A sighting describes the terrain you are standing on. The same number can greet a beginning or stand near an ending, and the difference is always what you decide to do with it.
Does seeing 5997 mean my wish will come true?
A number is not a delivery system for wishes. What it can do is show you what you were hoping for at the moment you noticed it, which is worth more than the wish itself.
Is 5997 connected to my Life Path number?
Only in the loosest sense. Angel number sightings speak to attention, timing and theme. Your core numbers are a different layer entirely, the architecture, and reading them together is where the picture gets useful.
