5940 keeps showing up: a receipt and a clock. The 5 pushes freedom and the 9 pushes completion, and they land in the same days. The zero turns the volume up on both. The total lands on 9 as well, so finish the one thing that has been sitting at ninety percent.
What 5940 means
The 9 is completion: the closing of a chapter to make space for something that could not exist while the old one was still open. When a number reduces to 9, something in your life is finished, even if you've not formally closed it.
Inside 5940, the 5 carries the open door that appears once a routine has finished teaching you. The 9 adds the closing of a chapter so a cleaner one can open. The 4 brings the unglamorous work that decides whether something lasts. The 0 makes everything louder, because it adds no message of its own.
The working, shown
5 + 9 + 4 + 0 = 18, and 1 + 8 = 9.
Every number in this system is read the same honest way: add the digits, reduce, and check whether a master number (11, 22 or 33) is trying to hold its full shape along the way.
Why you keep seeing it
The timing of the sightings is the real clue. An ending is asking to be named, and the sightings cluster around the thing you keep half closing. The lead digit is the 5, and it frames what follows: movement, once a routine has finished teaching you.
What to do when you see it
Your assignment when 5940 shows up
Let one finished thing actually finish: one box, one goodbye, one clearing. The 5 in the number asks you this. What are you gripping that you'd be relieved to let go of? Write the answer down and give it one hour this week.

Is 5940 a good sign?
It is a message about attention, and it says nothing final about your future. A number can point at a beginning, a warning, or a closing chapter, and none of those are automatically good or bad. What matters is what you do with the pattern it names.
Does seeing 5940 mean my wish will come true?
Not quite. The sighting is not a yes machine. It is a mirror, and what it reflects is what you were wanting when you caught it. That wants an action, and it won't wait.
Is 5940 connected to my Life Path number?
The two work at different levels. A sighting is about attention in the present. Your core numbers come from your full name and date of birth, and they describe the architecture underneath.
