You've seen 5697 twice today already: a bus number and an email subject line. What you are dealing with is freedom from the 5 and care from the 6, and they arrive together. The total lands on 9 as well, so finish the one thing that has been sitting at ninety percent.
What 5697 means
The 9 is completion: the closing of a chapter to make space for something that could not exist while the old one was still open. When a number reduces to 9, something in your life is finished, even if you've not formally closed it.
Inside 5697, the 5 carries the open door that appears once a routine has finished teaching you. The 6 adds home, and the people who depend on you. The 9 brings the closing of a chapter so a cleaner one can open.
The working, shown
5 + 6 + 9 + 7 = 27, and 2 + 7 = 9.
Every number in this system is read the same honest way: add the digits, reduce, and check whether a master number (11, 22 or 33) is trying to hold its full shape along the way.
Why you keep seeing it
There is usually a live question underneath a sighting like this. Something is finished and you have not fully let it go, and the number keeps appearing until you do. Note where it ends, on the 7: depth that arrives when the noise stops.

Is 5697 a good sign?
Neither good nor bad. A sighting describes the terrain you are standing on. The same number can greet a beginning or stand near an ending, and the difference is always what you decide to do with it.

The wish fulfillment reading is the one to let go of first. A repeating number is a prompt toward clarity, and clarity followed by a decision beats waiting for an outcome every time.
Is 5697 connected to my Life Path number?
No, not directly. A number you keep seeing is about the present moment and your attention, which is what is alive right now.
