4991 turns up where you weren't looking for it: a queue ticket and a bank statement. The 4 brings foundation and the 9 brings completion, and most of what this number asks of you sits where those two meet. Five is freedom, so look at what you have been holding still that wants to move.
What 4991 means
The 5 is change: movement, freedom, the lesson that arrives through experience, not through planning. When a number reduces to 5, a routine has likely done what it came to do, and something in you already knows it's time for a different shape.
Inside 4991, the 4 carries the unglamorous work that decides whether something lasts. The 9 adds the closing of a chapter so a cleaner one can open. The 1 brings the spark of a beginning before it has a structure.
The working, shown
4 + 9 + 9 + 1 = 23, and 2 + 3 = 5.
Every number in this system is read the same honest way: add the digits, reduce, and check whether a master number (11, 22 or 33) is trying to hold its full shape along the way.
Why you keep seeing it
The pattern has a habitat, and yours is telling. Restlessness with a real address keeps showing up, and the pattern is pointing straight at its door. It closes on the 1, where the message lands: a beginning that has not been given a name yet.

Your assignment when 4991 shows up

Is 4991 a good sign?
Neither good nor bad. A sighting describes the terrain you are standing on. The same number can greet a beginning or stand near an ending, and the difference is always what you decide to do with it.
Does seeing 4991 mean my wish will come true?
No, and reading it that way tends to make people passive. The honest use of a repeating number is noticing what you were thinking about when it appeared, then making an actual decision yourself.
Is 4991 connected to my Life Path number?
A sighting is a moment and your chart is a standing structure. The number following you says something about your season, and your Life Path and the rest of your numbers, hand calculated from your birth name and birth date, describe what you are working with underneath every season.
