The sightings of 4956 pile up: a till display and a door number. The 4 brings foundation and the 9 brings completion, and most of what this number asks of you sits where those two meet. The total lands on 6 as well, so notice whose problem you are carrying that is not yours to carry.
What 4956 means
The 6 carries responsibility, home and care, the numbers of the people you look after and the people who look after you. When a number reduces to 6, attention is being asked for, usually closer to home than you expect.
Inside 4956, the 4 carries the unglamorous work that decides whether something lasts. The 9 adds the closing of a chapter so a cleaner one can open. The 5 brings the open door that appears once a routine has finished teaching you.
The working, shown
4 + 9 + 5 + 6 = 24, and 2 + 4 = 6.
Every number in this system is read the same honest way: add the digits, reduce, and check whether a master number (11, 22 or 33) is trying to hold its full shape along the way.
Why you keep seeing it
The honest answer starts close to home. The theme is home and carrying: something about how you hold the people you love is live right now. The final digit is the 6, where the message lands: care for the people who depend on you.
What to do when you see it
Your assignment when 4956 shows up
Rebalance the care by putting back something you have been spending on everyone else. Ask yourself what the 6 wants known right now. Where has care become control? Take the step this week, and keep it small enough to actually take.

Is 4956 a good sign?
Neither good nor bad. A sighting describes the terrain you are standing on. The same number can greet a beginning or stand near an ending, and the difference is always what you decide to do with it.
Does seeing 4956 mean my wish will come true?
Not quite. The sighting is not a yes machine. It is a mirror, and what it reflects is what you were wanting when you caught it. That wants an action, and it won't wait.
Is 4956 connected to my Life Path number?
No, not directly. A number you keep seeing is about the present moment and your attention, which is what is alive right now. Your Life Path, Expression and other core numbers are calculated from your birth name and birth date, and they describe the fixed architecture you are working with underneath the weather of any single day.
