You've seen 4947 twice today already: a bus number and an email subject line. The 4 carries foundation and the 9 adds completion, so the two keep working on the same week. Six is care, so notice whose problem you are carrying that is not yours to carry.
What 4947 means
The 6 carries responsibility, home and care, the numbers of the people you look after and the people who look after you. When a number reduces to 6, attention is being asked for, usually closer to home than you expect.
Inside 4947, the 4 carries the unglamorous work that decides whether something lasts. The 9 adds the closing of a chapter so a cleaner one can open. The 7 brings the answer that arrives once the noise drops.
The working, shown
4 + 9 + 4 + 7 = 24, and 2 + 4 = 6.
Every number in this system is read the same honest way: add the digits, reduce, and check whether a master number (11, 22 or 33) is trying to hold its full shape along the way.
Why you keep seeing it
There is usually a live question underneath a sighting like this. The theme is home and carrying: something about how you hold the people you love is live right now. Read it from the front and the 4 leads, so the rest borrows its tone: work that holds other things up.

Is 4947 a good sign?
The honest answer is that the number is neutral. It points at what is already moving in your life. The pattern is information, and information used well tends to end up called good.
Does seeing 4947 mean my wish will come true?
Not quite. The sighting is not a yes machine. It is a mirror, and what it reflects is what you were wanting when you caught it. That wants an action, and it won't wait.
Is 4947 connected to my Life Path number?
No, not directly. A number you keep seeing is about the present moment and your attention, which is what is alive right now. Your Life Path, Expression and other core numbers are calculated from your birth name and birth date, and they describe the fixed architecture you are working with underneath the weather of any single day.
