The sightings of 3996 pile up: a till display and a door number. What you are dealing with is expression from the 3 and completion from the 9, and they arrive together. The total lands on 9 as well, so finish the one thing that has been sitting at ninety percent.
What 3996 means
The 9 is completion: the closing of a chapter to make space for something that could not exist while the old one was still open. When a number reduces to 9, something in your life is finished, even if you've not formally closed it.
Inside 3996, the 3 carries the point where a private thought becomes something shared. The 9 adds the closing of a chapter so a cleaner one can open. The 6 brings home, and the people who depend on you.
The working, shown
3 + 9 + 9 + 6 = 27, and 2 + 7 = 9.
Every number in this system is read the same honest way: add the digits, reduce, and check whether a master number (11, 22 or 33) is trying to hold its full shape along the way.
Why you keep seeing it
Sightings cluster around a live theme, and this one is no exception. The pattern arrives around goodbyes that have not been said, and it stays until they are. Read it from the front and the 3 leads, so the rest borrows its tone: expression, which is a thought asking to be shared.

Is 3996 a good sign?
The honest answer is that the number is neutral. It points at what is already moving in your life. The pattern is information, and information used well tends to end up called good.
Does seeing 3996 mean my wish will come true?
Not quite. The sighting is not a yes machine. It is a mirror, and what it reflects is what you were wanting when you caught it. That wants an action, and it won't wait.
Is 3996 connected to my Life Path number?
No, not directly. A number you keep seeing is about the present moment and your attention, which is what is alive right now. Your Life Path, Expression and other core numbers are calculated from your birth name and birth date, and they describe the fixed architecture you are working with underneath the weather of any single day.
