You've seen 3987 twice today already: a bus number and an email subject line. The 3 pushes expression and the 9 pushes completion, and they land in the same days. The total lands on 9 as well, so finish the one thing that has been sitting at ninety percent.
What 3987 means
The 9 is completion: the closing of a chapter to make space for something that could not exist while the old one was still open. When a number reduces to 9, something in your life is finished, even if you've not formally closed it.
Inside 3987, the 3 carries the point where a private thought becomes something shared. The 9 adds the closing of a chapter so a cleaner one can open. The 8 brings the honest use of strength and the results that follow it.
The working, shown
3 + 9 + 8 + 7 = 27, and 2 + 7 = 9.
Every number in this system is read the same honest way: add the digits, reduce, and check whether a master number (11, 22 or 33) is trying to hold its full shape along the way.
Why you keep seeing it
The timing of the sightings is the real clue. An ending is asking to be named, and the sightings cluster around the thing you keep half closing. Note where it ends, on the 7: depth that arrives when the noise stops.
What to do when you see it
Your assignment when 3987 shows up
Complete the circle by saying the thank you or the sorry, and let the season close. Ask yourself what the 7 wants known right now. Which hours of your week actually belong to thinking? Take the step this week, and keep it small enough to actually take.

Is 3987 a good sign?
Neither good nor bad. A sighting describes the terrain you are standing on. The same number can greet a beginning or stand near an ending, and the difference is always what you decide to do with it.
Does seeing 3987 mean my wish will come true?
A number is not a delivery system for wishes. What it can do is show you what you were hoping for at the moment you noticed it, which is worth more than the wish itself.
Is 3987 connected to my Life Path number?
The two work at different levels. A sighting is about attention in the present. Your core numbers come from your full name and date of birth, and they describe the architecture underneath.
