You've seen 3947 twice today already: a bus number and an email subject line. What you are dealing with is expression from the 3 and completion from the 9, and they arrive together. Five is freedom, so look at what you have been holding still that wants to move.
What 3947 means
The 5 is change: movement, freedom, the lesson that arrives through experience, not through planning. When a number reduces to 5, a routine has likely done what it came to do, and something in you already knows it's time for a different shape.
Inside 3947, the 3 carries the point where a private thought becomes something shared. The 9 adds the closing of a chapter so a cleaner one can open. The 4 brings the unglamorous work that decides whether something lasts.
The working, shown
3 + 9 + 4 + 7 = 23, and 2 + 3 = 5.
Every number in this system is read the same honest way: add the digits, reduce, and check whether a master number (11, 22 or 33) is trying to hold its full shape along the way.
Why you keep seeing it
The honest answer starts close to home. Something has finished teaching what it came to teach, and the number keeps appearing because you have not let it end. Read it from the front and the 3 leads, so the rest borrows its tone: expression, which is a thought asking to be shared.

Your assignment when 3947 shows up

Is 3947 a good sign?
Neither good nor bad. A sighting describes the terrain you are standing on. The same number can greet a beginning or stand near an ending, and the difference is always what you decide to do with it.
Does seeing 3947 mean my wish will come true?
The wish fulfillment reading is the one to let go of first. A repeating number is a prompt toward clarity, and clarity followed by a decision beats waiting for an outcome every time.
Is 3947 connected to my Life Path number?
No, not directly. A number you keep seeing is about the present moment and your attention, which is what is alive right now. Your Life Path, Expression and other core numbers are calculated from your birth name and birth date, and they describe the fixed architecture you are working with underneath the weather of any single day.
