You've seen 3497 twice today already: a bus number and an email subject line. The 3 pushes expression and the 4 pushes foundation, and they land in the same days. Five is freedom, so look at what you have been holding still that wants to move.
What 3497 means
The 5 is change: movement, freedom, the lesson that arrives through experience, not through planning. When a number reduces to 5, a routine has likely done what it came to do, and something in you already knows it's time for a different shape.
Inside 3497, the 3 carries the point where a private thought becomes something shared. The 4 adds the unglamorous work that decides whether something lasts. The 9 brings the closing of a chapter so a cleaner one can open.
The working, shown
3 + 4 + 9 + 7 = 23, and 2 + 3 = 5.
Every number in this system is read the same honest way: add the digits, reduce, and check whether a master number (11, 22 or 33) is trying to hold its full shape along the way.
Why you keep seeing it
There is usually a live question underneath a sighting like this. Something has finished teaching what it came to teach, and the number keeps appearing because you have not let it end. The lead digit is the 3, and it frames what follows: expression, which is a thought asking to be shared.

Is 3497 a good sign?
It is a marker, and it carries no blessing and no threat. The number names a live theme and hands it to you. Whether it turns out well has everything to do with your answer and nothing to do with the digits.
Does seeing 3497 mean my wish will come true?
A number is not a delivery system for wishes. What it can do is show you what you were hoping for at the moment you noticed it, which is worth more than the wish itself.
Is 3497 connected to my Life Path number?
Only in the loosest sense. Angel number sightings speak to attention, timing and theme. Your core numbers are a different layer entirely, the architecture, and reading them together is where the picture gets useful.
