2988 has a way of landing in plain sight: a booking confirmation and a mileage counter. What you are dealing with is balance from the 2 and completion from the 9, and they arrive together. The total lands on 9 as well, so finish the one thing that has been sitting at ninety percent.
What 2988 means
The 9 is completion: the closing of a chapter to make space for something that could not exist while the old one was still open. When a number reduces to 9, something in your life is finished, even if you've not formally closed it.
Inside 2988, the 2 carries patience with timing that can't be forced. The 9 adds the closing of a chapter so a cleaner one can open. The 8 brings the honest use of strength and the results that follow it.
The working, shown
2 + 9 + 8 + 8 = 27, and 2 + 7 = 9.
Every number in this system is read the same honest way: add the digits, reduce, and check whether a master number (11, 22 or 33) is trying to hold its full shape along the way.
Why you keep seeing it
This number tends to arrive at a particular kind of moment. Something is finished and you have not fully let it go, and the number keeps appearing until you do. The number opens with the 2, and everything after it borrows that tone: timing you cannot hurry.

Is 2988 a good sign?
It is a marker, and it carries no blessing and no threat. The number names a live theme and hands it to you. Whether it turns out well has everything to do with your answer and nothing to do with the digits.
Does seeing 2988 mean my wish will come true?
The wish fulfillment reading is the one to let go of first. A repeating number is a prompt toward clarity, and clarity followed by a decision beats waiting for an outcome every time.

A sighting is a moment and your chart is a standing structure. The number following you says something about your season, and your Life Path and the rest of your numbers, hand calculated from your birth name and birth date, describe what you are working with underneath every season.
