2980 keeps showing up: a receipt and a clock. What you're dealing with is partnership from the 2 and completion from the 9, and they arrive together. The zero turns the volume up on both. One is initiation, so name the thing you keep postponing and give it a first hour this week.
What 2980 means
The 1 is the number of pure initiation, the self before it becomes a structure. It's a decision, made or waiting to be made, before it's a habit, a relationship or a business. When a number reduces to 1, the message is rarely subtle: something in your life is at the very beginning of its arc, and the only person who can move it forward is you.
Inside 2980, the 2 brings partnership and timing, the patience that lets two things align without forcing one; the 9 adds completion, the closing of a chapter so a cleaner one can open; the 8 adds authority, the honest use of strength and the results that follow direct action. The 0 in the sequence works like a volume knob: it doesn't add its own message, it turns up whatever digit sits beside it.
The working, shown
2 + 9 + 8 + 0 = 19, 1 + 9 = 10, and 1 + 0 = 1.
Every number in this system is read the same honest way: add the digits, reduce, and check whether a master number (11, 22 or 33) is trying to hold its full shape along the way.
Why you keep seeing it
Numbers repeat when a theme refuses to stay quiet. The theme underneath is self-direction: your life is asking what you want, not what everyone else needs from you. It closes on the 0, potential, which is where the message lands: the point before beginning, unity, the source that amplifies whatever stands next to it.

Is 2980 a good sign?
It's good news in the most useful sense: something in your life is ready for your attention right now, and the number arrives while you can still steer. A sighting is an invitation, not a verdict. What it points at is already yours to shape, and that's exactly why it shows up when you're able to shape it.
Does seeing 2980 mean my wish will come true?
The number does something better than granting wishes: it shows you what your heart was hoping for at the exact moment you noticed it. A hope you can see clearly is already becoming a choice, and a choice is how wishes actually come true. Notice what you were wanting, then give it one honest step this week.
Is 2980 connected to my Life Path number?
A sighting is a moment. Your chart is a map. The number following you says something about your season; your Life Path and the rest of your numbers, hand calculated from your birth name and birth date, describe what you're working with underneath every season.
