You've seen 2597 twice today already: a bus number and an email subject line. The 2 brings balance and the 5 brings freedom, and most of what this number asks of you sits where those two meet. The total lands on 5 as well, so look at what you have been holding still that wants to move.
What 2597 means
The 5 is change: movement, freedom, the lesson that arrives through experience, not through planning. When a number reduces to 5, a routine has likely done what it came to do, and something in you already knows it's time for a different shape.
Inside 2597, the 2 carries patience with timing that can't be forced. The 5 adds the open door that appears once a routine has finished teaching you. The 9 brings the closing of a chapter so a cleaner one can open.
The working, shown
2 + 5 + 9 + 7 = 23, and 2 + 3 = 5.
Every number in this system is read the same honest way: add the digits, reduce, and check whether a master number (11, 22 or 33) is trying to hold its full shape along the way.
Why you keep seeing it
A number keeps arriving until the theme it names gets an honest look. A change is already moving under the surface, and the sightings arrive when you grip the old shape harder. The lead digit is the 2, and it frames what follows: timing you cannot hurry.

Your assignment when 2597 shows up

Is 2597 a good sign?
It is a message about attention, and it says nothing final about your future. A number can point at a beginning, a warning, or a closing chapter, and none of those are automatically good or bad. What matters is what you do with the pattern it names.
Does seeing 2597 mean my wish will come true?
The wish fulfillment reading is the one to let go of first. A repeating number is a prompt toward clarity, and clarity followed by a decision beats waiting for an outcome every time.
Is 2597 connected to my Life Path number?
A sighting is a moment and your chart is a standing structure. The number following you says something about your season, and your Life Path and the rest of your numbers, hand calculated from your birth name and birth date, describe what you are working with underneath every season.
