You've seen 1887 twice today already: a bus number and an email subject line. The 1 pushes initiation and the 8 pushes power, and they land in the same days. Six is care, so notice whose problem you are carrying that is not yours to carry.
What 1887 means
The 6 carries responsibility, home and care, the numbers of the people you look after and the people who look after you. When a number reduces to 6, attention is being asked for, usually closer to home than you expect.
Inside 1887, the 1 carries the spark of a beginning before it has a structure. The 8 adds the honest use of strength and the results that follow it. The 7 brings the answer that arrives once the noise drops.
The working, shown
1 + 8 + 8 + 7 = 24, and 2 + 4 = 6.
Every number in this system is read the same honest way: add the digits, reduce, and check whether a master number (11, 22 or 33) is trying to hold its full shape along the way.
Why you keep seeing it
The honest answer starts close to home. Care has started tilting somewhere, toward control, toward worry, toward everyone except the person right in front of you. The lead digit is the 1, and it frames what follows: a beginning that has not been given a name yet.
What to do when you see it
Your assignment when 1887 shows up
Give one person your full undistracted attention, with no phone and no half listening. Ask yourself what the 1 wants known right now. What beginning is available to you right now that you haven't admitted to yourself? Answer it once, then leave the pattern alone and watch what it does.

Is 1887 a good sign?
The honest answer is that the number is neutral. It points at what is already moving in your life. The pattern is information, and information used well tends to end up called good.
Does seeing 1887 mean my wish will come true?
No, and reading it that way tends to make people passive. The honest use of a repeating number is noticing what you were thinking about when it appeared, then making an actual decision yourself.
Is 1887 connected to my Life Path number?
A sighting is a moment and your chart is a standing structure. The number following you says something about your season, and your Life Path and the rest of your numbers, hand calculated from your birth name and birth date, describe what you are working with underneath every season.
