You've seen 1787 twice today already: a bus number and an email subject line. You get initiation out of the 1 and wisdom out of the 7, often in the same afternoon. Five is freedom, so look at what you have been holding still that wants to move.
What 1787 means
The 5 is change: movement, freedom, the lesson that arrives through experience, not through planning. When a number reduces to 5, a routine has likely done what it came to do, and something in you already knows it's time for a different shape.
Inside 1787, the 1 carries the spark of a beginning before it has a structure. The 7 adds the answer that arrives once the noise drops. The 8 brings the honest use of strength and the results that follow it.
The working, shown
1 + 7 + 8 + 7 = 23, and 2 + 3 = 5.
Every number in this system is read the same honest way: add the digits, reduce, and check whether a master number (11, 22 or 33) is trying to hold its full shape along the way.
Why you keep seeing it
Sightings cluster around a live theme, and this one is no exception. The theme is movement: part of you needs more space than its current container allows. The lead digit is the 1, and it frames what follows: a beginning that has not been given a name yet.
What to do when you see it
Your assignment when 1787 shows up
Loosen the grip on one thing that finished teaching you, and let it go with dignity. The 1 in the number asks you this. What beginning is available to you right now that you haven't admitted to yourself? Give it one real hour, and let the rest of the week stay as it is.

Is 1787 a good sign?
It is a message about attention, and it says nothing final about your future. A number can point at a beginning, a warning, or a closing chapter, and none of those are automatically good or bad. What matters is what you do with the pattern it names.
Does seeing 1787 mean my wish will come true?
Not quite. The sighting is not a yes machine. It is a mirror, and what it reflects is what you were wanting when you caught it. That wants an action, and it won't wait.
Is 1787 connected to my Life Path number?
A sighting is a moment and your chart is a standing structure. The number following you says something about your season, and your Life Path and the rest of your numbers, hand calculated from your birth name and birth date, describe what you are working with underneath every season.
