You've seen 1557 twice today already: a bus number and an email subject line. There is initiation in the 1 and freedom in the 5, and neither one runs without the other. Nine is completion, so finish the one thing that has been sitting at ninety percent.
What 1557 means
The 9 is completion: the closing of a chapter to make space for something that could not exist while the old one was still open. When a number reduces to 9, something in your life is finished, even if you've not formally closed it.
Inside 1557, the 1 carries the spark of a beginning before it has a structure. The 5 adds the open door that appears once a routine has finished teaching you. The 7 brings the answer that arrives once the noise drops.
The working, shown
1 + 5 + 5 + 7 = 18, and 1 + 8 = 9.
Every number in this system is read the same honest way: add the digits, reduce, and check whether a master number (11, 22 or 33) is trying to hold its full shape along the way.
Why you keep seeing it
Numbers repeat when a theme refuses to stay quiet. The theme is release: a circle has completed, and holding the shape of it costs you daily. The final digit is the 7, where the message lands: depth that arrives when the noise stops.
What to do when you see it
Your assignment when 1557 shows up
Release one thing you have outgrown, actively, not just by ignoring it. Ask yourself what the 7 wants known right now. Which hours of your week actually belong to thinking? Decide one thing about it today, and act on it before the week ends.

Is 1557 a good sign?
Neither good nor bad. A sighting describes the terrain you are standing on. The same number can greet a beginning or stand near an ending, and the difference is always what you decide to do with it.
Does seeing 1557 mean my wish will come true?
A number is not a delivery system for wishes. What it can do is show you what you were hoping for at the moment you noticed it, which is worth more than the wish itself.
Is 1557 connected to my Life Path number?
Only in the loosest sense. Angel number sightings speak to attention, timing and theme. Your core numbers are a different layer entirely, the architecture, and reading them together is where the picture gets useful.
