You've seen 1427 twice today already: a bus number and an email subject line. What you are dealing with is initiation from the 1 and foundation from the 4, and they arrive together. Five is freedom, so look at what you have been holding still that wants to move.
What 1427 means
The 5 is change: movement, freedom, the lesson that arrives through experience, not through planning. When a number reduces to 5, a routine has likely done what it came to do, and something in you already knows it's time for a different shape.
Inside 1427, the 1 carries the spark of a beginning before it has a structure. The 4 adds the unglamorous work that decides whether something lasts. The 2 brings patience with timing that can't be forced.
The working, shown
1 + 4 + 2 + 7 = 14, and 1 + 4 = 5.
Every number in this system is read the same honest way: add the digits, reduce, and check whether a master number (11, 22 or 33) is trying to hold its full shape along the way.
Why you keep seeing it
There is usually a live question underneath a sighting like this. Something has finished teaching what it came to teach, and the number keeps appearing because you have not let it end. The lead digit is the 1, and it frames what follows: a beginning that has not been given a name yet.
What to do when you see it
Your assignment when 1427 shows up
Change one routine that has become a cage, this week, not someday. Let the 1 set one journal prompt tonight. What beginning is available to you right now that you haven't admitted to yourself? Decide one thing about it today, and act on it before the week ends.

Is 1427 a good sign?
Neither good nor bad. A sighting describes the terrain you are standing on. The same number can greet a beginning or stand near an ending, and the difference is always what you decide to do with it.
Does seeing 1427 mean my wish will come true?
No, and reading it that way tends to make people passive. The honest use of a repeating number is noticing what you were thinking about when it appeared, then making an actual decision yourself.
Is 1427 connected to my Life Path number?
Only in the loosest sense. Angel number sightings speak to attention, timing and theme. Your core numbers are a different layer entirely, the architecture, and reading them together is where the picture gets useful.
