The sightings of 1266 pile up: a till display and a door number. What you are dealing with is initiation from the 1 and balance from the 2, and they arrive together. The total lands on 6 as well, so notice whose problem you are carrying that is not yours to carry.
What 1266 means
The 6 carries responsibility, home and care, the numbers of the people you look after and the people who look after you. When a number reduces to 6, attention is being asked for, usually closer to home than you expect.
Inside 1266, the 1 carries the spark of a beginning before it has a structure. The 2 adds patience with timing that can't be forced. The 6 brings home, and the people who depend on you.
The working, shown
1 + 2 + 6 + 6 = 15, and 1 + 5 = 6.
Every number in this system is read the same honest way: add the digits, reduce, and check whether a master number (11, 22 or 33) is trying to hold its full shape along the way.
Why you keep seeing it
The honest answer starts close to home. The theme is home and carrying: something about how you hold the people you love is live right now. Read it from the front and the 1 leads, so the rest borrows its tone: a beginning that has not been given a name yet.

Is 1266 a good sign?
It is a message about attention, and it says nothing final about your future. A number can point at a beginning, a warning, or a closing chapter, and none of those are automatically good or bad. What matters is what you do with the pattern it names.
Does seeing 1266 mean my wish will come true?
A number is not a delivery system for wishes. What it can do is show you what you were hoping for at the moment you noticed it, which is worth more than the wish itself.
Is 1266 connected to my Life Path number?
No, not directly. A number you keep seeing is about the present moment and your attention, which is what is alive right now. Your Life Path, Expression and other core numbers are calculated from your birth name and birth date, and they describe the fixed architecture you are working with underneath the weather of any single day.
