1240 keeps showing up: a receipt and a clock. The 1 is initiation and the 2 is balance, which means both are live at once. The zero turns the volume up on both. Seven is wisdom, so take the one question you keep circling and stay with it long enough to hear an answer.
What 1240 means
The 7 is depth: study, solitude, and the kind of answer that only surfaces once the noise has been turned down. When a number reduces to 7, the invitation is inward, not outward.
Inside 1240, the 1 carries the spark of a beginning before it has a structure. The 2 adds patience with timing that can't be forced. The 4 brings the unglamorous work that decides whether something lasts. The 0 makes everything louder, because it adds no message of its own.
The working, shown
1 + 2 + 4 + 0 = 7.
Every number in this system is read the same honest way: add the digits, reduce, and check whether a master number (11, 22 or 33) is trying to hold its full shape along the way.
Why you keep seeing it
The honest answer starts close to home. Something needs studying, sitting with, feeling through, and the pattern keeps marking the hours you give away instead. Note where it ends, on the 0: potential, the state before anything has taken a shape.
What to do when you see it
Your assignment when 1240 shows up
Go one layer deeper on the thing you keep googling, and sit with it without searching. And answer the question the 1 keeps asking. What beginning is available to you right now that you haven't admitted to yourself? Answer it once, then leave the pattern alone and watch what it does.

Is 1240 a good sign?
The honest answer is that the number is neutral. It points at what is already moving in your life. The pattern is information, and information used well tends to end up called good.
Does seeing 1240 mean my wish will come true?
A number is not a delivery system for wishes. What it can do is show you what you were hoping for at the moment you noticed it, which is worth more than the wish itself.
Is 1240 connected to my Life Path number?
The two work at different levels. A sighting is about attention in the present. Your core numbers come from your full name and date of birth, and they describe the architecture underneath.
