1198 has a way of landing in plain sight: a booking confirmation and a mileage counter. The 1 is initiation and the 9 is completion, which means both are live at once. The total lands on 1 as well, so name the thing you keep postponing and give it a first hour this week.
What 1198 means
The 1 is the number of pure initiation, the self before it becomes a structure. It isn't a habit yet, and it isn't a relationship yet either. It's a decision, made or waiting to be made. When a number reduces to 1, the message is rarely subtle: something in your life is at the very beginning of its arc, and the only person who can move it forward is you.
Inside 1198, the 1 carries the spark of a beginning before it has a structure. The 9 adds the closing of a chapter so a cleaner one can open. The 8 brings the honest use of strength and the results that follow it.
The working, shown
1 + 1 + 9 + 8 = 19, 1 + 9 = 10, and 1 + 0 = 1.
Every number in this system is read the same honest way: add the digits, reduce, and check whether a master number (11, 22 or 33) is trying to hold its full shape along the way.
Why you keep seeing it
A number keeps arriving until the theme it names gets an honest look. A beginning is available and half of you is pretending not to see it, which is exactly why the sightings cluster. The final digit is the 8, where the message lands: the honest use of power.

Is 1198 a good sign?
It is a marker, and it carries no blessing and no threat. The number names a live theme and hands it to you. Whether it turns out well has everything to do with your answer and nothing to do with the digits.
Does seeing 1198 mean my wish will come true?
Not quite. The sighting is not a yes machine. It is a mirror, and what it reflects is what you were wanting when you caught it. That wants an action, and it won't wait.
Is 1198 connected to my Life Path number?
The two work at different levels. A sighting is about attention in the present. Your core numbers come from your full name and date of birth, and they describe the architecture underneath.
