1171 turns up where you weren't looking for it: a queue ticket and a bank statement. You get initiation out of the 1 and wisdom out of the 7, often in the same afternoon. The total lands on 1 as well, so name the thing you keep postponing and give it a first hour this week.
What 1171 means
The 1 is the number of pure initiation, the self before it becomes a structure. It's a decision, made or waiting to be made, before it's a habit, a relationship or a business. When a number reduces to 1, the message is rarely subtle: something in your life is at the very beginning of its arc, and the only person who can move it forward is you.
Inside 1171, the 1 carries the spark of a beginning before it has a structure. The 7 adds the answer that arrives once the noise drops.
The working, shown
1 + 1 + 7 + 1 = 10, and 1 + 0 = 1.
Every number in this system is read the same honest way: add the digits, reduce, and check whether a master number (11, 22 or 33) is trying to hold its full shape along the way.
Why you keep seeing it
Numbers repeat when a theme refuses to stay quiet. Something is asking for a decision you keep postponing, a direction you have not let yourself choose. Read it from the front and the 1 leads, so the rest borrows its tone: a beginning that has not been given a name yet.
What to do when you see it
Your assignment when 1171 shows up
Take the beginning you have been denying and take the smallest possible first step toward it. The sighting hands you the 1 question directly. What beginning is available to you right now that you haven't admitted to yourself? Take the step this week, and keep it small enough to actually take.

Is 1171 a good sign?
Neither good nor bad. A sighting describes the terrain you are standing on. The same number can greet a beginning or stand near an ending, and the difference is always what you decide to do with it.
Does seeing 1171 mean my wish will come true?
Not quite. The sighting is not a yes machine. It is a mirror, and what it reflects is what you were wanting when you caught it. That wants an action, and it won't wait.
Is 1171 connected to my Life Path number?
A sighting is a moment and your chart is a standing structure. The number following you says something about your season, and your Life Path and the rest of your numbers, hand calculated from your birth name and birth date, describe what you are working with underneath every season.
