You catch 1162 more often than chance allows: a timestamp and a page number. The 1 brings initiation and the 6 brings care, and most of what this number asks of you sits where those two meet. The total lands on 1 as well, so name the thing you keep postponing and give it a first hour this week.
What 1162 means
The 1 is the number of pure initiation, the self before it becomes a structure. It isn't a habit yet, and it isn't a relationship yet either. It's a decision, made or waiting to be made. When a number reduces to 1, the message is rarely subtle: something in your life is at the very beginning of its arc, and the only person who can move it forward is you.
Inside 1162, the 1 carries the spark of a beginning before it has a structure. The 6 adds home, and the people who depend on you. The 2 brings patience with timing that can't be forced.
The working, shown
1 + 1 + 6 + 2 = 10, and 1 + 0 = 1.
Every number in this system is read the same honest way: add the digits, reduce, and check whether a master number (11, 22 or 33) is trying to hold its full shape along the way.
Why you keep seeing it
There is usually a live question underneath a sighting like this. A beginning is available and half of you is pretending not to see it, which is exactly why the sightings cluster. The lead digit is the 1, and it frames what follows: a beginning that has not been given a name yet.
What to do when you see it
Your assignment when 1162 shows up
Make the decision you have been circling, even a small version of it, today, before it drifts to someday. The 1 in the number asks you this. What beginning is available to you right now that you haven't admitted to yourself? Write the answer down and give it one hour this week.

Is 1162 a good sign?
It is a message about attention, and it says nothing final about your future. A number can point at a beginning, a warning, or a closing chapter, and none of those are automatically good or bad. What matters is what you do with the pattern it names.
Does seeing 1162 mean my wish will come true?
Not quite. The sighting is not a yes machine. It is a mirror, and what it reflects is what you were wanting when you caught it. That wants an action, and it won't wait.
Is 1162 connected to my Life Path number?
No, not directly. A number you keep seeing is about the present moment and your attention, which is what is alive right now. Your Life Path, Expression and other core numbers are calculated from your birth name and birth date, and they describe the fixed architecture you are working with underneath the weather of any single day.
