The sightings of 1156 pile up: a till display and a door number. The 1 is initiation and the 5 is freedom, which means both are live at once. Four is foundation, so find the routine you have been skipping and do the boring version of it tomorrow.
What 1156 means
The 4 is the number of foundations: structure, discipline, the parts of a life that aren't exciting but are the reason everything else stands up. When a number reduces to 4, it's rarely a sign to start something new. It's a sign to finish, tighten, or properly build something you already started.
Inside 1156, the 1 carries the spark of a beginning before it has a structure. The 5 adds the open door that appears once a routine has finished teaching you. The 6 brings home, and the people who depend on you.
The working, shown
1 + 1 + 5 + 6 = 13, and 1 + 3 = 4.
Every number in this system is read the same honest way: add the digits, reduce, and check whether a master number (11, 22 or 33) is trying to hold its full shape along the way.
Why you keep seeing it
This number tends to arrive at a particular kind of moment. Work is stacking unevenly right now, and the number arrives when the wobble becomes visible. The lead digit is the 1, and it frames what follows: a beginning that has not been given a name yet.

Is 1156 a good sign?
Neither good nor bad. A sighting describes the terrain you are standing on. The same number can greet a beginning or stand near an ending, and the difference is always what you decide to do with it.
Does seeing 1156 mean my wish will come true?
No, and reading it that way tends to make people passive. The honest use of a repeating number is noticing what you were thinking about when it appeared, then making an actual decision yourself.
Is 1156 connected to my Life Path number?
No, not directly. A number you keep seeing is about the present moment and your attention, which is what is alive right now. Your Life Path, Expression and other core numbers are calculated from your birth name and birth date, and they describe the fixed architecture you are working with underneath the weather of any single day.
